Scripture:
“Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” – 1 Peter 5:7
For Teens:
Sometimes faith feels easy—you believe, you trust, you pray, and you sense God’s nearness. But other times it feels heavy, even confusing. Maybe you’ve asked: Is God really there? Does God really care about me? Why do I still feel so alone if I’m praying?
If that’s where you are, you’re not broken. You’re human. Even people in the Bible wrestled with doubt—David cried out in the Psalms, Job asked God “why,” and Thomas needed to touch Jesus’ scars before he could believe.
Faith isn’t pretending you never struggle. Faith is holding onto God even when you don’t have all the answers. It’s saying, “God, I don’t get this, but I won’t let go of You.” And here’s the good news: God won’t let go of you either.

For Parents:
If you feel worn out trying to parent through your teen’s questions, doubts, or even outright rebellion—you’re not failing. You’re in the thick of real discipleship. Parenting isn’t about producing perfect kids. It’s about faithfully showing up, guiding, loving, and praying—even when it feels like nothing is sinking in.
Your child’s doubts are not the end of their faith story. Sometimes questions are the doorway to a deeper, more personal relationship with God. Keep pointing them to Jesus—not by having all the answers, but by modeling trust when you don’t have all the answers yourself.

Encouragement for Both:
God’s love is bigger than our struggles. Teens—you don’t have to figure it all out before God accepts you. Parents—you don’t have to carry this alone. Let God hold the weight with you.
Prayer:
Lord, we bring our questions, our doubts, and our weariness before You. Remind us that You are big enough to handle our struggles. For teens—be their anchor when faith feels shaky. For parents—be their strength when they feel worn out. Draw us all closer to You, and remind us that Your love never fails. Amen.
